An IV is a solution of isotonic, alkaline fluids that are administered by a registered nurse through a small plastic tube (catheter) that is inserted into a vein via a needle that is removed as soon as the plastic catheter is in place. The IV fluid is either 500 or 1000 milliliters in quantity and takes about 45-60 minutes for your body to absorb 100% of the solution into the bloodstream. IV infusions allow for high doses of vitamins and enzymes to be rapidly absorbed into the body.
Lymph fluid flows through lymph node tissue, filtering and recycling lymph fluid your body needs. The cells within your lymph nodes will attack, destroy, and eliminate waste, especially foreign invaders, to help your immune system keep you healthy.
Typically our IV infusions take approximately 45-60 minutes from start to finish. Higher dose infusions (such as chelation or high dose vitamin C) can take longer.
An injection is a shot administered either into the muscle or subcutaneous (fat) tissue consisting of concentrated vitamins or enzymes. No IV access is needed for an injection.
All treatments are given by a highly experienced Registered Nurse.
Side effects rarely happen if at all. If they do they are usually minor and short lived. Bruising or bleeding at IV site, warming or cooling sensation in the arm, chest, or stomach, tasting the vitamins or having a vitamin smell in your urine. Our licensed staff are trained to manage all side effects that may occur.
We only use skilled professionals for IV placement to ensure the least amount of pain is felt if any at all. Once the IV is in place only a very small, flexible straw will be left in the vein ensuring a comfortable session.
IV hydration goes straight to your blood stream bypassing the GI tract and absorbing 100% of the nutrients. Typically you will feel the effects within an hour of treatment, but everyone is different. Some of our drips are designed for long term benefits and may not give you the immediate boost you are looking for.
Most of our IV drips take anywhere between 30-60 minutes. During this time you can relax, recline, read, listen to music on your headphones, and just take time for you. Once treatment has started you can reline in one of our comfortable chairs and enjoy the benefits of vitamin therapy.
